  • Establishment of Amit Mines

    When Amit Mines was established in 2006, it started off with the trading of iron ores and other minerals. A few years later, Amit Mines undertook the reprocessing of slag bank for extraction of the remaining percentage of steel.

  • Acquired Iron & Steel Pvt Ltd

    In the year 2007, Amit Alliance acquired Iron Steel Plant in Durgapur and renamed it Amit Metaliks. After the installation of a new TMT rolling plant with hot charging facility, the capacity of the plant rocketed from 57,600 mt per annum of billets to a whopping 1,50,000.

    Their manufacturing expertise and exceptional quality management then won them the partnership of SAIL. Amit Alliance now manages SAIL's steel plants at Jagdishpur and Kangra, and also manufactures SAIL's products therein.

    March 2007

  • Acquired Shiv Shakti Sponge Iron Ltd (2009)

    A short while after acquiring Shiv Shakti Sponge Iron Ltd, the company enhanced its manufacturing capacity to 2x100 tonnes per day.

    April 2009

  • Established Takshvi Infra Pvt Ltd

    In 2013, the group founded its very own venture – Takshvi Infra Pvt Ltd. Having already garnered the faith of SAIL, Takshvi Infra was commissioned to construct roads inside SAIL's Durgapur office.

    At present, Takshvi Infra is working on building a power plant for SAIL.
